Before joining Seadrill, I had always worked onshore, for oil and gas companies.

When Seadrill contacted me to offer the HR Manager role, I couldn’t resist the challenge.

It was my responsibility to build a new HR department and establish a good compensation and benefits package for Seadrill Angola.

The work itself is very rewarding. I think my proudest achievement so far was the smooth and successful transition of a critical unit to Seadrill’s responsibility.

Seadrill is a multi-cultural company, and the culture of the company is to respect differences and diversity. Safety is also very important at Seadrill.

The good atmosphere this creates at work means it is possible to relish each day’s new challenge.

Being based offshore, everybody works very hard.
